Moose Mugs were thrown into the mainstream when Uncle Eddie and Clark first made them famous in the cult classic National Lampoons Christmas Vacation. Since then, movie fanatics, moose lovers and fans of Christmas have been searching for these custom glasses.
Ethix Studios was tasked with building an identity, packaging and web presence for a company producing replica mugs, dubbed Holiday Moose Mugs. The corky, fun, and slightly over-the-top aspects of the movie were translated into the design, leaving Holiday Moose Mugs with a product closely tied to the movie's following, but with a clearly individual look.
